I mainly work as a theatre-maker and dramaturg in the Southwest. I am particularly enjoy making in site-responsive work, work that happens in the dark, and occasionally pieces where both these things are happening. I am interested in exploring the meditative possibilities live performance offers, and how theatre can intervene in the frantic pace of modern life.
I have worked on commissions from organisations including Theatre West and City And Islington College, and have performed work at venues including Theatre Royal Plymouth, The Bike Shed Theatre and Battersea Arts Centre.
Outside of producing my own work, I have devised and lead an adult learning course about making audio-guides at CoLab in Exeter, worked as an assistant director on new performances being produced by Theatre Royal Plymouth, and been commissioned to create public art by Art Week Exeter.
I am always looking to collaborate, chat and learn, and am usually found in Exeter or Plymouth.
