I am a paper flower artist with a design studio, Wild Hive, in the heart of Dartmoor National Park. I make beautiful botanical creations from studies of deconstructed flowers. Each petal is cut and shaped by hand from high grade crepe paper and assembled to create realistic blooms.
Prior to starting Wild Hive, I worked as a theatre designer. Drawing on my set design experience, I am currently exploring ways to create both permanent and temporary large scale floral installations – starting with a collection of 6ft x 6ft paper flower walls for hire for weddings and events
I became a resident at Kaleider at the start of 2016. I work from their studio one or two days a week, often constructing paper flowers for my latest projects on site. So if you’re reading this and you see me in there, covered in glue and paper, pop over, say hello & tell me what you’re up to.
