A colocation hub for individuals and companies who are trying to make the world a better place in pioneering and creative ways.
Kaleider is a production studio. We play at the edges of live performance, installation and digital. Often in public space.
A significant part of our practice is to hold a space for others to make work too. We give away space to people from all sorts of backgrounds in the belief that something exciting and surprising will happen.
We host artists of all varieties, producers, academics, scientists, young people, many people that fit into more than one category, and several that need a category all to themselves. Our list of Residents can be found here
Kaleider Residents are working on, or interested in working with others on creating new experiences, products or services. We’re particularly interested in people who are wrestling with big ideas in their work.
There’s room for both the intimate and the epic. And we’re really keen on playability. We imagine the majority of residents will be working in the arts sector, creative industries, creative technology, research, and/or science. But we also want to be surprised. We are currently working with organisations, people and in areas such as Universities, Bartlett School of Architecture, schools, robots, TV, arts and artists, fabricators and makers, publishers, a symphony orchestra, animation, technologists and the Met Office.
The invitation to apply for Residency is currently on hold while we move homes, and the application process is being reviewed. Kaleider is a curated studio. If you are interested in becoming a Kaleider Resident or connecting with the network please get in contact with firstname.lastname@example.org
We welcome enquiries from anyone regardless of gender, age, race, sexuality, religious beliefs, ethnicity, disability, and we actively seek to create a diverse Resident community.
We will be reopening applications in the Autumn once we’re settled in our new space. Date TBC.

*Open Fridays will be suspended over the summer while Kaleider moves homes.
May 11th is the last one before the move.
Watch this space for when they’ll kick off again in the Autumn.
A great way to find out more about the Studio and Kaleider is to book on to a Studio Tour. Our Studio Producer, Jocelyn will be hosting a tour every Friday at 10.30am* when we are settled in our new home – sometime early Autumn 2018 – watch this space for updates. They are a chance to see the Studio and the other spaces we have here, as well as to meet some of our Residents and ask questions. Each tour lasts around 20 minutes.
If you would like to book on to a tour please email firstname.lastname@example.org (please note there is limited capacity).
Kaleider is spaced over 2 floors. We always try to inform any visitors prior to arrival that at present, the first floor can only be reached by stairs – please let us know if this makes it inaccessible to you – and/or if there are any other considerations before we meet, so we can tailor the tour as best we can.
You are also welcome to work at Kaleider after the tour as part of our Open Friday.
