Kris is a keen technologist and gamer in his spare time, and loves nothing more than to tinker on side projects. Growing up in Exeter, Kris has been building computers, networks, software systems and gadgets since childhood, leading him to a BSc in Network Computing. Kris started IT consultancy firm Switch Systems Ltd www.switchsystems.co.uk over a decade ago, and spends most of his day developing solutions to interesting problems with his team. In his spare time, Kris is also a leader of TechExeter CIC https://techexeter.uk , which champions tech and science throughout the region, organising over a dozen events every year including free meetups, workshops and conferences. TechExeter covers a wide range of tech and digital topics accessible to all levels – from GDPR to GPS, Amazon Alexa to Augmented Reality, through to TensorFlow and Machine Learning.
