I have two poetry collections published: Pieces of Us (Worple Press) and The Hospital Punch (Maquette Publications). Alongside this, my writing has been widely anthologised, most recently in The Tree Line, (with the Legal Sustainability Alliance), and A Body of Work (Bloomsbury). Writing has also been published in For the Children of Gaza (Onslaught Press), The Morning Star, The Pre-Raphaelite Journal, Militant Thistles, Agenda, Message in a Bottle, Robin Hood Anthology, Caparison, Tears in the Fence, South Poetry, Riptide, Shearsman Magazine, Gangway Press (Australia), Iota, The North, Trespass, Bridport Anthology. Some poems are archived with The Poetry Library. My writing has won awards and I have been shortlisted the Bridport Prize and Wasfari Prize among others.
My other research interests include the evolution of the relationship between text and visual art – and healthcare and medicine in the arts. As a tutor with The Poetry School, I design and leads ekphrastic courses. An interview on links between poetry and art is here. An essay, ‘Ekphrastic Evolutions’, was published in Poor Yorick Journal Western Connecticut State University, 2016. A blog about producing a book of interlinked short stories with Devon Drugs Project and UMASS ‘Changing Lives Through Literature’ is here.
