I am an artist and a printmaker. I’m fascinated by the potential of printmaking as a contemporary medium and in its impact for social change. I have worked as a participatory artist for many years with people and children of all ages and I love to see how people are inspired by art. I started a part time MA Multidisciplinary Printmaking at UWE in September 2015 for 3 years. Currently I am exploring moving image work with multiple printing plates and hybrid printmaking methods.
Exeter has mixture of community-focused art organisations. I work with Double Elephant Print Workshop as a director and a tutor, and we seek to promote printmaking through an open-access workshop, outreach projects across diverse venues, courses and projects. I am an associate artist with Dreadnought South West, also based in Exeter. Dreadnought South West supports and produces new arts and heritage work that raises awareness of courageous women and their stories.
