A Producer Conversation
The Palace Theatre, Paignton
30th October 2015 6-7pm
£12 (includes dinner and Ruth Mitchell’s Homeward Bound 7.30-9pm)
Doorstep Arts have invited our Senior Producer, Emily, to host a conversation with makers and producers that explore producing and all of its edges as part of their autumn season of fantastic work.
Here is her invitation:
Over the last 5 years I have worked at establishing myself as a producer placing my feet firmly on Devonian soil. I am on a mission to help create a more ambitious, collaborative and exciting ecology for makers, producers, and audiences across Devon and the South West.
A key part of this mission is to keep having conversations and offering opportunities for people at all stages of their careers to be able to share their knowledge and experiences, to ask questions, and to meet future collaborators (and these conversations will be made even better at this event, with food from the brilliant Seeds 2, Totnes).
Myself and another Devon based Producer will offer a provocation which we hope will trigger conversation and debate.
We’d love you to join us between 6-7pm at The Palace Theatre, Paignton to hear our provocations, get fired up, and have a conversation that begins to address some of the challenges, and to share examples of best practice around making work in this region.
Spaces are limited to please email email@example.com.
We look forward to seeing you there,
Emily Williams | @emilybronwen
